Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducts preliminary inspection (material receiving, in-process and final inspection) with the field operation group prior to joint inspection with the client.

  • Ensures that all inspected materials and equipment are complied with the drawings, specifications, applicable requirements, codes and standards.

  • Prepares quality control inspection report (QCIR's), non-conformance report (NCR's) for noted quality violation / findings and verification of corrections / corrective actions taken prior to close out.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Primary: Responsible for the development, optimization, and implementation of strategies, processes, and activities across all categories.

  • Implement overall Category Management activities, including but not limited to strategic planning and sourcing, identification, and implementation of vendor plans, programs, and priorities for all categories.

  • Identify and capture value-generating opportunities using TCO, operational excellence improvements, design/operational best practices, technology, strategic sourcing, contracting, supplier integration, and performance management within and across all categories.

  • Execute category procurement process by analyzing and applying decision support analytics to develop decisions on strategic sourcing strategies, category management, and vendor-related issues.

  • Implement existing Sourcing Agreements for compliance, improvements, modifications or renewal.

  • Review strategies with Construction and Procurement Operations to ensure coordinated category management and to ensure Company is maximizing leverage across all operating companies and business units.

  • Negotiate contracts and monitor contract compliance of vendors.

  • Supports implementation of vendor performance review and resolution of issues related to the implementation of agreements/contracts and in coordination with SCM’s Systems and Standards, Vendor Management, and Contracts Management teams.

  • Plan and coordinate resources required to deliver sourcing and contracting strategies.

Job Qualifications and Job Competencies

Educational Background:

  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering (major in Civil, Mechanical or Electronics) or Architecture is preferred

  • Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Finance with Accounting or related fields

  • MBA or Supply Chain certifications or equivalent, a plus but not required

Professional Experience:

  • At least 3-5 years of experience in Supply Chain/Procurement, Project Management, Contract Management with focus on Procurement Operations management

  • Extensive and varied contract negotiation experience with suppliers, vendors and subcontractors

  1. Form a group of Instrumentman and Rodman to provide layout at site.

  2. Review approved drawings before layout at site.

  3. Provide RFI's to Sr. Surveyor or Party Chief to resolve conflicts on plan vs. actual layout at site.

  4. Provide survey data to Engineering for attachment to RFI's.

  5. Checking of primary and secondary control.

  6. Conduct daily diary of site survey activities and store properly soft and hard copy of survey datas to ensure availability upon needed. 

  7. Responsible for handling, care, and maintenance of issued survey instruments.

  8. Conduct checking of established layout at site prior to hand over to FOG.

  9. Submit survey reports to Party Chief. 

Key Requirements:

  • Preferably licensed Geodetic or Civil Engineer

  • 1-3 years' experience as Surveyor or Instrumentman with experience in surveying of building, infrastructure and heavy industrial plants.

  • Willing to be assigned in different places and work on high elevated areas.

Participate in the review of Bid and Project Construction Schedule, with close coordination with BU PMT. Responsible for verifying the Schedule, and Forecast; Ensure all ongoing projects upload a Baseline Schedule and the Current Schedule is being updated weekly in EPPM; diligently review the key milestone dates, required resources and sequence of work. Directly reports to the Planning Supervisor/ Grp. Supervisor/ Manager. 

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Participate in review of Tender Documents, Drawings, Zoning / Methodologies and provide inputs/comments to BU's Planning Team

  2. Participate in project meetings i.e. Project briefing, Construction Methodology, Schedule Review

  3. Perform schedule analysis using the Schedule Health Checklist for Bid Schedule prior bid review.

  4. Perform schedule analysis using the Schedule Health Checklist for Baseline and Current Schedule.

  5. Generate Schedule Health Report.

  6. Review resource requirements with close coordination with BU-Planners.

  7. Review schedule constraint with close coordination with BU-Planners.

  8. Contribute in the development of standard sequences of work, activity descriptions, durations, etc.

  9. Capable of debugging schedule logic. Identify part / process that cause delay

  10. Capable of Integrating engineering, purchasing and procurement into schedule

  11. Provide and prepare data needed for EVM, Resources and Business Analytics Programme.

Qualifications

  1. Candidate must possess atleast Professional License in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical and Electrical)

  2. Basic to Intermediate Skills in Primavera P6, Pert-CPM Analysis, MS Office; Oracle Project Mgt.

  3. Atleast 3 to 4 years working experience in planning/ engineering/ construction

  4. Knowledgeable in project planning (Primavera P6), monitoring, scheduling, resource and cost loading, and cost status & interpretation;

  5. Knowledge in material identification;

  6. Knowledgeable in Estimation, Quality Control, Human Resources & Procurement Procedure, and critical Company Policies & Procedures

  7. Basic Knowledge in contracts, change orders, variations and claims.

  8. Can work independently or with minimal supervision;

  9. Able to travel as needed to participate in schedule development, training, and commercial requirements.

  10. Render overtime as needed.
