EEI Power Corporation inks 145.2kWP solar rooftop system deal with Dagupan Doctors Villaflor Memorial Hospital
EEI Power Corporation (EEIPC), the power subsidiary of Âé¶¹´«Ã½, recently inked a deal for the construction of a 145.2kWp Solar PV rooftop system with Dagupan Doctors Villaflor Memorial Hospital (DDVMH) in Mayombo District, Dagupan City.
The solar rooftop system, comprised of 264 units of 550 watt-peak monocrystalline photovoltaic solar panels, is anticipated to yield an average annual energy output of 183,680kWh. Additionally, it is projected to curtail carbon emission by approximately 128 metric tons annually, equivalent to planting 2,150 trees. Over its 25-year lifespan, the PV system is estimated to save DDVMH up to Php 20 million in electricity expenses.
The signing ceremony was graced by key representatives from both Dagupan Doctors Villaflor Memorial Hospital and EEI Power Corporation, attesting to their common belief on sustainable energy future as an important pillar of the global drive to address climate change.
During the contract signing ceremony, Dr. Vivencio Jose P. Villaflor III, Hospital and Medical Director of DDVMH, emphasized the hospital's commitment to environmental stewardship and sustainable development through the adoption of clean energy sources such as this solar rooftop system we are installing in our premises through this partnership with EEI Power.
